BLACK POETRY vol. 2

BLACK POETRY VOL2

Funny aint it?

The motherland
 and
 the cradle of civilization
 endured years of colonization
before it attained a level of modernization.
 Pour me some scotch,
even God watched
as my ancestors were lynched and torched.
Those who stood their ground
had their foot chopped off and bound.
 R.I.P KINTA KUNTE,
 R.I.P MARCUS GARVEY.
Racism is still alive today
 Brothers from distant clan,
 The Klu Klux Klan
still striving to conquer
 the black panther.
 A prophecy paved the way
for the self realization of today
as the dreams of Dr Martin Luther
manifested in Barack Obama.
