ALONE
Dimmed lights,
secluded from sights,
sitting on my couch
cigarette sticks in my pouch
listening to soothing sounds of jazz
life is but a farce.
Alone with my closest companion
whispering to my ear drum.
Mind, body and soul in a threesome
making love to my lonesome.
For I was cold all day,
now my pains drizzle away,
all warries cease
as times freeze.
So much fun in solitude
as I approach my altitude.
Worries now pacific,
I found the relief I seek.
